These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website located at deeperwisdomconsult.org (the "Site"), and all related services, content, communications, and consulting offerings (collectively, the "Services") provided by Deeper Wisdom Consult Corp, a Georgia non-profit corporation (referred to in these Terms as "Deeper Wisdom," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing the Site, scheduling a consultation, exchanging messages with us, or otherwise engaging the Services, you ("you" or "Client") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. About Deeper Wisdom

Deeper Wisdom Consult Corp is a Georgia non-profit corporation that operates a faith-based ministry offering coaching, consulting, discernment, and conflict-transformation services to leaders, ministries, congregations, and faith-aligned organizations. The Services are grounded in Christian spirituality and informed by ecumenical practice. Nothing offered through the Services constitutes legal, medical, psychological, financial, or licensed counseling advice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to use the Services or to provide any contact information to us. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least eighteen years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. The Services

Deeper Wisdom may offer, among other things:

• One-on-one and cohort coaching for ministry leaders, pastors, and executives;

• Organizational consulting and facilitated discernment for boards, ministries, and faith-aligned organizations;

• Conflict transformation and reconciliation processes;

• Training in intentional prayer and whole-life discipleship; 

• Retreats and other group gatherings to assist and train; and

• Related communications, scheduling, and follow-up.

The specific scope, fees, deliverables, and timeline for any engagement will be agreed upon separately, in writing, between you and Deeper Wisdom. These Terms govern your general use of the Site and communications; a separate engagement agreement may govern specific paid or formal engagements.

4. Booking a Consultation

You may request a complimentary consultation or a paid engagement through the Site or by contacting us directly. Scheduling, confirmations, reminders, and follow-up regarding consultations may be delivered to you by email, phone, or SMS using the contact information you provide. Submission of a booking request does not by itself create a binding engagement; an engagement is formed only upon confirmation by Deeper Wisdom.

5. SMS / Text Messaging Program

Consent. By providing your mobile telephone number to Deeper Wisdom — whether through the Site, a booking form, or directly in conversation with us — and by checking the corresponding opt-in box or otherwise affirmatively confirming your consent, you agree to receive text (SMS) messages from Deeper Wisdom related to your engagement with the ministry.

Types of messages. Messages may include appointment confirmations, payment receipts, scheduling reminders, rescheduling notices, and occasional personal follow-up from "Doc" Hall or a Deeper Wisdom representative regarding your inquiry, consultation, or ongoing engagement.

Frequency. Message frequency varies based on your engagement. You should generally expect a low volume of messages — typically only when an appointment is scheduled, rescheduled, or when “Doc” is following up on a prior conversation.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opt-out. You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. After you reply STOP, you will receive one confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent. To rejoin, reply START or contact us directly.

Help. For help, reply HELP to any message, email us at [email protected] , or call 888-464-4861.

Carriers. Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, and most other U.S. carriers. T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No third-party sharing for marketing. Mobile information collected as part of our SMS program will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared only with subprocessors that help us deliver the messaging service (such as our SMS platform provider), and only as necessary for that purpose.

6. Fees and Payment

Initial consultations are typically offered at no cost. Fees, payment schedules, and refund terms for any paid engagement (including cohort programs, organizational consulting, retreats, and trainings) will be set forth in a separate written agreement between you and Deeper Wisdom. Donations to Deeper Wisdom (a 501(c)3 organization) are voluntary and, where applicable, may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law; you should consult your own tax advisor.

7. Conduct and Acceptable Use

You agree to engage with Deeper Wisdom in good faith, to provide accurate information, and to refrain from using the Services to harass, defame, or harm any person. You agree not to use the Site or Services in any manner that is unlawful, that violates the rights of others, or that interferes with the proper functioning of the Site.

8. Confidentiality

Deeper Wisdom treats conversations, coaching sessions, and discernment work with care and discretion. We will not disclose the substance of your sessions or sensitive personal information you share with us except: (i) with your consent; (ii) as reasonably necessary to provide the Services; (iii) as required by law; or (iv) where, in our judgment, disclosure is necessary to prevent imminent harm to you or another person. Deeper Wisdom is a ministry and not a licensed counseling practice, and the Services do not carry legal clergy-penitent or therapist-patient privilege.

9. No Professional Advice

The Services are pastoral and consultative in nature. Nothing communicated to you by Deeper Wisdom constitutes, nor is intended as a substitute for, legal advice, medical advice, mental-health diagnosis or treatment, financial advice, or any other licensed professional service. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on conversations with Deeper Wisdom, and you should seek the counsel of an appropriately licensed professional for matters requiring such expertise.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, photographs, audio, video, and downloadable materials — is the property of Deeper Wisdom or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial use, but you may not copy, redistribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

11. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may link to or integrate with third-party websites and services. Deeper Wisdom does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party site or service. Use of any third-party site or service is at your own risk and subject to that party’s own terms.

12. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. DEEPER WISDOM DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE OR SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY PARTICULAR OUTCOME WILL BE ACHIEVED THROUGH THE SERVICES.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DEEPER WISDOM AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR SERVICES, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, EVEN IF DEEPER WISDOM HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT WILL DEEPER WISDOM’S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO DEEPER WISDOM IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Deeper Wisdom and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (i) your use of the Services; (ii) your violation of these Terms; or (iii) your violation of any rights of a third party.

15. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Rockdale County, Georgia, and you consent to the jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

16. Changes to These Terms

Deeper Wisdom may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Site or Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
